A Private Sanctuary
SOMA Longevity announces the opening of SOMA Banya & Wellness, a new intimate wellness destination just moments from Monaco, created around the art of deep recovery, traditional Banya rituals and highly personalised body treatments.
Designed as a private sanctuary rather than a conventional spa, SOMA offers guests the opportunity to disconnect from the outside world and experience restorative rituals individually, as a couple or with a small group of friends. At the heart of the concept is the traditional Banya experience, led by an experienced Banya specialist and combining heat, steam, venik rituals, contrast therapy and periods of rest. The experience is designed to create a profound feeling of physical release, relaxation and renewed energy. Alongside its signature Banya rituals, SOMA Banya & Wellness offers a curated selection of treatments, including therapeutic and relaxing massages, body exfoliation and cleansing rituals, body wraps, facial treatments and personalised wellness experiences.
“We wanted to create a place where wellbeing begins with attention to the individual. SOMA is intentionally intimate and private — a space where guests can slow down, recover and experience traditional rituals in a contemporary, refined environment,” says Anna Lunhu Wardenaar, Founder of SOMA Longevity.
The opening of SOMA Banya & Wellness represents the first stage in the development of the wider SOMA Longevity concept. Over time, the brand plans to introduce additional longevity and preventive wellness programmes, combining traditional recovery practices with modern technologies and personalised approaches to health optimisation. Located in Beausoleil, immediately adjacent to Monaco, SOMA has been conceived for both local residents and international visitors seeking privacy, individual attention and a more profound approach to wellness.
