Founded in 1864 by the pioneering English landscape gardener John Taylor, the eponymous real estate agency was the first of its kind to ever be created, and remains to this day a landmark name synonymous with excellence in the market. Shaped by its founder and his heirs, John Taylor has become the undisputed reference for clients seeking exceptional properties in the South of France. Elizabeth Taylor, Henry Fonda, Eddie Barclay, Gregory Peck, as well as eminent figures from nobility and politics in France and Great Britain, have entrusted the agency over the years to make their French Riviera dreams a reality.
In the 2000s, the John Taylor Group embraced an international dimension before being acquired in November 2017 by the Artcurial Group on the initiative of its president, Nicolas Orlowski, who greatly contributed to the brand’s influence and expansion.
Nicolas Orlowski, Artcurial Group’s CEO – John Taylor: “In twenty years, our group has become the preferred partner for an international clientele seeking to invest in exceptional and collectible properties. Our values of guidance and expertise have allowed us to support our clients and their families in the various domains covered by the different affiliates of our group.
We will continue our development by prioritising what has made us successful: proximity, trust, and discretion in the context of a responsible relationship with our clients.”
