A record-breaking €35M sale realised in June 2023 for a 669-squaremeter Parisian apartment
Globally recognised real estate company, John Taylor has announced it will be opening two new offices in Paris on the left bank (Boulevard Saint-Germain, 7th arrondissement) and the right bank of the Seine (La Muette, 16th arrondissement), strengthening its presence in the French capital. Planned for the second half of 2023, this strategic expansion illustrates John Taylor’s commitment to its clients’ expectations and needs, which has helped the company become one of the global leading luxury real estates. Over the past twelve years, John Taylor’s historical office in Paris on Avenue Pierre Ier de Serbie, has been the trailblazing agency for the ultra-luxury market – particularly in the very coveted Triangle d’Or area. With these two new locations opening in Autumn, the company will expand their exceptional range of services to cover sought-after arrondissements and the surrounding areas.
David Samama, Co-Executive Director of John Taylor Paris, stated: “John Taylor is the reference for international clients: over 70% of our buyers in Paris originate from abroad. From our historical agency in the Triangle d’Or, we provide comprehensive assistance throughout the sales, acquisitions, and rental processes. To meet the increasing demand on the Left Bank, we will soon open a new office at 234 Boulevard Saint-Germain, Paris 7th, formerly occupied by BOFFI. A second flagship office of significant scale will open in the 16th arrondissement at 4 Chaussée de la Muette, allowing us to continue offering our clients the most exceptional properties in Western Paris. These new locations will allow John Taylor to attract new talents and foster synergies between the different branches of the Artcurial Group.”

Founded in 1864 by the pioneering English landscape gardener John Taylor, the eponymous real estate agency was the first of its kind to ever be created, and remains to this day a landmark name synonymous with excellence in the market. Shaped by its founder and his heirs, John Taylor has become the undisputed reference for clients seeking exceptional properties in the South of France. Elizabeth Taylor, Henry Fonda, Eddie Barclay, Gregory Peck, as well as eminent figures from nobility and politics in France and Great Britain, have entrusted the agency over the years to make their French Riviera dreams a reality.
In the 2000s, the John Taylor Group embraced an international dimension before being acquired in November 2017 by the Artcurial Group on the initiative of its president, Nicolas Orlowski, who greatly contributed to the brand’s influence and expansion.
Nicolas Orlowski, Artcurial Group’s CEO – John Taylor: “In twenty years, our group has become the preferred partner for an international clientele seeking to invest in exceptional and collectible properties. Our values of guidance and expertise have allowed us to support our clients and their families in the various domains covered by the different affiliates of our group.
We will continue our development by prioritising what has made us successful: proximity, trust, and discretion in the context of a responsible relationship with our clients.”
