The global wildlife charity, The White Lion Foundation, is hosting a prestigious VIP invite-only event at the luxurious Draycott hotel in London’s fashionable Chelsea, on Thursday 5 December.
The evening is in aid of the charity’s work to save the last leopards living wild in the Kara Karum mountains.
Snow leopards are beautiful and elusive creatures as well as being highly endangered – it is believed there are now only between 4000 and 7000 left in the wild.
TWLF have a partnership project in the Kara Karum to protect and conserve them for future generations, working closely with the local population of farmers and villagers to safeguard their livestock against leopard attack and to raise education and understanding as to the plight of these magnificent animals.
The evening event, Dreaming of a Wild Christmas, will have a wonderfully festive theme featuring beautiful traditional Christmas carols, and a festive mix of mulled wine and mince pies, as well as a luxury raffle with limited tickets available.
TWLF Director, Shirley Galligan, said ‘this promises to be a very special night to help endangered wildlife and raise much needed funds for our work to protect and conserve snow leopards. One of the most endangered of the big cats.’
This event is very kindly supported by Luxury magazine and a subscription to their fabulous lifestyle magazine is one of the prizes generously donated to raise money for protection of the remaining snow leopards, in a special raffle that will be held on the night.
