The limited Bespoke collections of the Rolls-Royce cars are masterpieces of art that reflect the talent, craftsmanship of the brand’s designers and deep attention to detail. Each collection born in Goodwood becomes a cherished collectible object for the most demanding customers in the world. The Wraith Kryptos collection takes fantasy to a new level. The concept of the line appeared due to the hobby of one of the designers of the brand – cryptography. Wraith has become a canvas for code encrypted in intricate design elements. The Wraith Kryptos Collection will include only 50 cars, each of them will hide a maze of encoded messages. Katrin Lehmann, Rolls-Royce Bespoke designer, noted: “The name Kryptos comes from the ancient Greek language and means something unprecedented, hidden, encoded, to some degree even mythical. Ciphers can be passed for millennia, demonstrating the imagination of the world’s most brilliant minds. As a designer, I have always been amazed by the fact that with the help of symbols, pictograms and a cipher, you can transmit messages that are understandable only to the elite. The decipher of message is the key to understanding the true meaning of the object that would otherwise be perceived only as an object of art. ”
The main intrigue is considered to be the code encrypted in the Wraith Kryptos cars. To the uninitiated viewer, these ciphers seem to be decorative elements created exclusively for aesthetic pleasure. For those who will decide to take a closer look, these patterns will open up the wonderful world of cryptography. Only two people in the world know what these codes hide in themselves – this is the designer and CEO of the brand. The key to the code is hidden in sealed envelope, which is stored in the safe of Torsten Mueller-Otvos, Executive Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Customers will be able to try their hand at decoding messages and submit their answers through the Whispers application, access to which only the owners of the cars of the brand have. The first message is hidden at the base of the “Spirit of Ecstasy” figure on the hood of the car: engraving and inserts of green enamel are coded cipher. The air ducts in the front bumper received a new modification, gifting the appearance of the collection with a special individuality. The body of the anthracite shade Delphic Gray has a special effect – a blue-green overflow of appears in sunlight. The cars are decorated with a double decorative line: the upper stripe is made in green “Kryptos Green”, designed specifically for this collection, and the bottom is in gray. Both lines give hints to the code hidden in the passenger compartment. Partially polished discs with gray shade in the middle and contrasting green edging complete the image.
The riddles continue in the cabin. Next code is encrypted in door sills with illumination. Accents in the green shade of “Kryptos Green” with metallic effect instantly catch the eye, shading the leather interior, available mica flakes in light gray or anthracite colors. The branded monogram “RR” on the headrests was replaced by the most noticeable fragment of the cipher. The cabin of the Wraith Kryptos illuminates the amazing interpretation of the “starry sky.” Instead of celestial bodies on the ceiling is a composition depicting the flow of data in motion. This motif continues in the leather trim of the doors with a green piping. A soft horizontal illumination has appeared in the door pocket, and the brightness of the lines gradually goes out as it approaches the bottom. The embroidery on the center console resembles the pattern of the lines on the doors, hinting that this car was created for independent driving.
The Kryptos collection is a real challenge. Who will crack the code? What is the secret? Time will tell.

Обе линии дают подсказки к коду, скрытому в салоне автомобиля. Довершают образ частично полированные диски с выкрашенной в серый оттенок серединой и контрастным зеленым кантом.
Загадки продолжаются в салоне. Следующий код зашифрован в накладках на пороги с иллюминацией. Взгляд моментально приковывают акценты в зеленом оттенке «Kryptos Green» с металлическим эффектом, оттеняющие кожаный салон, доступный в светло-сером или антрацитовом цветах. Фирменную монограмму «RR» на подголовниках заменил самый заметный фрагмент шифра. Салон Wraith Kryptos озаряет изумительная интерпретация «звездного неба». Вместо небесных тел на потолке расположена композиция, изображающая поток данных в движении. Этот мотив продолжается в кожаной отделке дверей с зеленым кантом. В кармане дверей появилась мягкая горизонтальная подсветка, а яркость линий постепенно гаснет по мере приближения к нижней части. Вышивка на центральной консоли повторяет узор линий на дверях, намекая, что этот автомобиль создан для самостоятельного вождения.
